A 40ft 1989 Springer 4 berth cruiser stern narrowboat.
This sweet little boat has given many years of faithful service to her previous occupants and is now ready for a new owner to take her out on the waterways again. The 40ft length makes turning and mooring a doddle, and yet A Beautiful Mess feels surprisingly spacious with her welcoming, smart and uncluttered interior.
Externally, a repaint is needed and the engine is in need of either repair or replacement - however, anodes were fitted in 2020 and a hull blacking was carried out in April 2023.
The boat also features 2 solar panels to the roof.
Entering from the stern, a side door leads into the saloon, which has a large double sofa-bed, beautiful wooden flooring, a corner solid fuel stove, and a radiator.
The galley comes equipped with a freestanding hob and oven, under counter fridge, stainless steel circular sink and work surfaces to both sides of the boat. There is also cupboard space for storage.
The bathroom is conveniently situated between the galley and the bedroom, and has a shower, washbasin and toilet.
Finally, there is a fixed double berth, further central heating radiators, and double doors leading onto the bow deck.
